That was how I felt all those decades ago. And even today, when I know I’m beginning a journey of sorts, those old feelings are still there.

Welcome to my website.

This is my newly published novel. It's on Amazon KIndle available as an ebook.

From the age of 21, when I quit a job I didn’t much like, I began to travel the world. My first trip was travelling overland to Kathmandu, which inspired me to write a fictional account of this life-changing experience now published on Amazon Kindle. Across the ensuing decades I undertook more overseas trips, hitch-hiking to Afghanistan, then around Europe, as well as visiting South East Asia. I studied at drama school and worked as a professional actor for most of my life, which also gave me the opportunity to to travel abroad. Now, in the autumn of my life I write novels.

This is my newly published fictional account of the trip I made in 1966. It’s available on Amazon Kindle now.

About the Archivist

This is a curated selection of letters that left a mark on the world, on someone’s life, or just in the margins of time.

Each is transcribed with care and respect for the medium that first carried it: the typewritten page.
